no grading on a curve.

In school students love it when teachers decide to grade on a curve.
For some it means the difference between passing and failing.

Some people think that God grades on a curve.

We say to ourselves, "Well I'm not as holy as Mother Theresa was but I'm also not as evil as Hitler was."

Often we rationalize in our minds thinking that God will judge or grade our lives on a curve-averaging all of mankind's goodness and shortcomings to determine who will make it into His everlasting Kingdom.

This is simply not true.

Thanks be to our loving Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ that our lives will not graded based on a curve but a cross!

"...He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." Colossians 2:14

Faith is this supreme act of love and sacrifice is what causes any of us to make the grade:)
