A "Who" is better than a "what" anyday.

"And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured our His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us."
-the Apostle Paul in Romans chapter five

We've been given a "Who"in the Holy Spirit.

I'll take a "Who" over a "what" any day.

The Holy Spirit craves to be known, believed in and followed.

He will lead us to Jesus and into greater realities of the Kingdom every time we interact with Him.

For the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

It is vital to not only develop a developing set of beliefs in the Holy Spirit, but also a growing relationship.

The reason we can have a hope that doesn't disappoint is because God did not just give us some abstract feeling of "hope" but rather the person of the Holy Spirit.

A "Who" beats a "what" any day of the week and twice on Sundays:)

Men Who Pray said...

Maybe you could explore what that looks like in your role as dad and pastor?

Maybe some real examples from your life on how you balance out those roles yet still stay focused on the who of the spirit?

I'm sure there would be many who would benefit from that insight.
