easter @ elim gospel church.
4.4....Easter Sunday we will be looking at the radical nature of God's love.
"When a church begins to do church for the “already convinced”–evangelism will always take a back seat!" -Perry Noble
At Elim Gospel Church we refuse to get to that place!
We've been called to be fishers of men and not simply keepers of the aquarium.
The Holy Spirit was given to us not just for our enjoyment but our employment (Acts 1:8)!
I hope you'll be able to make it out to our Good Friday worship and communion gathering, 7-8pm in the Youth Room. Bring your egc3 prayer cards and we'll partner with heaven in prayer. The Holy Spirit is going to use our invitations to move on hearts to "come and see" what kind of transformation Jesus can do in their lives.
It's going to be powerful celebrating Jesus' resurrection from the dead this Sunday...especially for those who give their lives to Christ in the midst of the celebration!

2nd chances.
At some point everyone of us need to be extended a second chance.
Recently my son, Jesse, spilled his milk while eating at the dinner table. While I did not enjoy having to clean up the milk that was running off the table and dripping through the cracks of our wooden table, it was a no brainer to give him another cup of milk after the clean up operation was done.
As our church family we have been listening to some prophetic words, I couldn't help but think of this principle.
Prophecy is so cool in that it updates with a reminder of God's perfect plan and intention for our lives. Literally speaking those things that are not as though they were. (Romans 4:17)
As good as second chances are...God is not a God of 2nd chances.
It's even better than that...God is the God of another chance.
His mercy is new every morning.
His love is unfailing.
His thoughts towards each one of us outnumber the sands of the seashore.
He is absolutely committed to us finishing our race well.
He is completely unchanging in His faithfulness.
"If we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot disown himself." (2 Timothy 2:13)
My God is not the God of second chances...He's the God of another chance!
